People who own Teacup Yorkshire Terriers love them. They are tiny and weigh no more than six to seven pounds. They are so little that they can hide under furniture and may actually get lost in some tiny hideaway. Care must be take that they do not get stepped on or tripped over. They are described as being extremely loyal and make excellent watchdogs. Easily trained, they will stay where you tell them until you give them permission to move. Some owners recommend a playpen if you are not there to give your little one supervison and attention. They make wonderful pets but require a lot of attention. If you are not prepared to be an attentive friend to your Teacup Yorkshire Terrier, you probably should not buy one.
